Are You Ready to Work with Me?

Hiring a consultant is a big step! I want to share with you three things that you have to be willing to do in order to have a successful outcome working with a consultant.

To look in the mirror.

If you’re calling a consultant and asking them to fix your team, you’re probably not ready for consulting. Leadership really is an inside job! A lot of the change in the transformation is going to start with you.You have to be really willing to look in the mirror and look at what you need to do or who do you need to become to lead your team to this next level in your practice.

You have to be willing to carve out the time.

If you invest money in bringing a consultant into your practice, but then you’re not wanting to carve out time for implementation and integration and follow up with your team, then you’re probably not ready for a consultant. The magic doesn’t just happen when the consultant is there, it’s everything that happens after that. And you want to give yourself space and time to really integrate these new things into your practice.

Be willing to step outside of your comfort zone.

If you want to get a different result doing the same comfortable things that you’ve been doing prior to hiring a consultant, that means you might be resistant to those new ideas.Going to the next level means stepping outside of your comfort zone. And if you’re willing and ready to do that, that’s a great sign that you’re going to have great success working with a consultant.Hiring a consultant really is a big step but if you have these three things in place, and you’re really committed to the transformation in your practice the return on investment is always there … many times over what your investment was.
