Are You Fully Implementing What You Know?
I had one of those "Aha" moments recently and I wanted to share with you what I learned from it!
Recently, my team had a great week and we were discussing how much we had accomplished and how many things we were able to mark off our To Do List! My team member gently reminded me of something she hears me teach my clients, and that is, how to start each day with a plan. We had stopped doing our morning meetings and when we started them again it made a huge difference in our productivity.
We all need to be careful of what I call the "I Already Know That" syndrome! The "I Already Know That" syndrome is learning and hearing about things but not fully implementing them.
Here's the difference:
If you've learned something but are not living it day in and day out in your practice, you don't KNOW it, you've only HEARD it!
You won't get results from things you don't implement.
All the knowledge in the world and all the continuing education won't take your practice to the next level if you don't FULLY implement what you have learned.
Today, I want you to think about something you've learned but have not fully integrated it into your practice. Don't think of 10 things or 20 things, just think of ONE thing! Then spend the next 90 days with your team focusing on full implementation and integration of this one thing.
It's better to fully implement one thing at a time than to try to implement many new things and only have a few of them stick.
So, take something you've already heard about but not fully integrated and spend the next 90 days on your implementation of it and watch your practice grow!
I would love to hear what your one thing is and how it changed your practice. Please comment below or email them to me at contact@kristinpelletier.com!
